Workmanship Insurance for Renewables Contracts
As of 17th December 2024, the option to purchase IWA insurance through the MCS MID system ended. However MCS made it very clear that Financial Protections (Workmanship Insurance) remained mandated and leading up to December IWA worked with MCS to ensure a smooth transition for those companies wishing to continually benefit from the great insurance rates and service on offer.
Our aim has been very clear – to ensure all of the many contractors that had access to the IWA insurance through MCS, could continue to do so, using the IWA portal for consumer registrations. The response from those contractors has been outstanding and we continue to encourage any contractors that have not yet done so, to contact IWA so they too can have access to insurance to remain compliant with MCS.
